Day to Night*

There is nothing better than having staple items that you can wear anytime, anywhere. Betabrand , a clothing company, had this idea on how to transition a pair of pants from day to night, office to dinner, casual to parties, and this is something that I really enjoy doing myself. I love fashion items that are interchangeable. In today's post I have put together my own outfit that I think work perfectly as a transition between daytime to a night out.

Day...
Trousers: Primark / Top: Forever 21 / Shoes: Vans
 Night out...
Trousers: Primark / Top: Zara / Heels: New Look / Jacket: New Look / Jewellery: Accessorize & Pandora

These patterned trousers are the main feature of this outfit. For the day time I have paired them with vans and white top. I like this outfit as it offers a complete comfort and is great for warm days. As for the evening, taking the same trousers I have chosen to style with some black heels and a tight fitted black crop top; with added jewellery to add make the outfit more elegant.  I also included a leather jacket for the colder evenings.

Thankyou for reading, and thanks to Betabrand for letting me get involved. Check out Betabrand's women's pants page (here)*, I have also attached a few if the images they sent me. See you next time, goodbyee

Updated Favourites

You are probably sat there wondering why it has taken me so long to update my blog. I'm not going to talk about it too much but I found it really difficult to find blogging motivation and when I had motivation  and idea, I just didn't have the time. Now I've finished my AS exams I've had a little more time to sit down and write. I decided to no longer set myself a posting schedule and I will be starting my A level lessons again in a couple of weeks. So for now I want to share things with you all when I can; and hopefully I can really begin to enjoy blogging without any of the stresses of getting content out there.

For today I thought I would share with you some of my recent favourites, although I have been away from blogging I have still tried out some new things, many of which have really stood out as I'm writing this.

Starting off with makeup; just the other day I picked up another of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks. I reviewed 'Don't pink of it!' a while ago on my blog (Link here.) Having loved that shade so much I went into my local Superdrug in hope to find a more brown toned nude, as my other liquid lipstick was more of a pinky colour. After buying 'Cool Brown' I have practically worn it everyday since. I love the matte finish that these lipsticks have; you can apply and not worry too much as the product is really long lasting as well. Sticking with makeup, I have been loving the Kiko nail lacquer in this red-purple shade (my colour descriptions really haven't got any better..). Unfortunately this doesn't have a colour name and as it would gifted to me by a friend I have no way of finding out any information on this product. I like this nail polish because the consistency of it means I only have to apply one coat to get a great bold colour and finish. Okay it's not the most summery colour for June but the weather recently make it seem more like winter!

Onto clothing. I have always been a fan of Vans but recently I have frequently been grabbing my dark grey Vans in the classic style. I actually pick these up last year in the sale - the bonus of having small feet! I find these really comfortable to wear and go with pretty much any outfit. They are also a great way of changing an outfit to become a little more casual. My favourite shop at the moment has to be Zara. A few weeks ago I went shopping with a key aim to find a few basic and comfortable T-Shirts. Now I don't wear a school uniform a basic T-Shirt always comes in handy. For £5.99 each I managed to pick up some really lovey tops. I was really happy with the price of these, with the quality I expected to have to pay a lot more. They also fit with my signature stripy clothing obsession!! Finally, I have caved and created a Tumblr account - which probably won't do anything for my procrastination levels but oh well. I really enjoy creating a blog on there and it is also great for inspiration, particularly as photography is something I really enjoy. If you would like to follow me my blog is: megansw0rld.tumblr.com Don't forget to leave your Tumblr accounts below and I'll go and check them out.

Thankyou for reading. To stay updated for when I next upload make sure you are following all my social media (linked at the side of my blog) and follow me on bloglovin'. See you next time, goodbye
