It's been a while... January Favorites

I'm going to start off by saying sorry for neglecting this blog; school and A-levels have been quite hectic lately. But today I'm back with a favourites post, because it really has been a while!

Starting with makeup items, my two current favourite lip products are the Rimmel Kate Moss lip stick in 08 and the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 10. I've spoken about both of these products quite a lot on my blog before, so I'm not going to go into too much detail. Another makeup item I have been loving is the Mac eyeshadow in Just pea Just Peach. It's a great subtle everyday shade in a really stunning colour. As for nail polish, I don't get to wear nail polish a lot, but when I do I always reach for the BarryM Gelly HiShine in Almond. This is a nude-purple-grey (Great description there..) shade, a great colour for all year round. I also cannot forget to mention the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, if you've been reading my blog for a while you will know that I love this. If I could only recommend one makeup product, it would hands down be this.

As for clothing items, I have chosen to mention skirts as my favourite. Particularly this striped monochrome skirt (pictured in the first image) which I got in the New Look sale. Recently I've been wearing skirts a lot more, I get bored of just wearing my black jeans all the time.

For random favourites, I'm going to start off with the 'Q&A a day book'. I think this is such a good way of tracking memories and I really look forward to looking back at it in a few years time. So far I've actually been quite good at keeping up to date with it. I also have to mention the One Direction Between Us perfume, I've wearing this a lot since Christmas. And last be not least, I've been listening to a few different songs recently. I would first like to mention Zayn's new song 'Pillow talk'; I have to say I love the song but I'm not too keen on the video. I have also been listening to Ed Sheeran's Wembley Edition of 'X'. I was lucky enough to attend the concert and this album has the orginal songs as well as a few new ones that are really amazing. Finally, I've been loving One Direction's video for 'History', it is such a good idea and really shows what they have achieved over the years.

Thankyou for reading. Again I'm sorry for the lack of posting, please bare with me school is still pretty busy and I don't really want to be uploading content/ posts that have been rushed and/ or that I'm not completely happy with.
