With living away from home for uni, packing is a frequent thing. Ensuring that I have a good selection of makeup is part of that - the worst thing is realising you need something and you've left it at home while you are away at uni! Tbh because of this it's easy to start realising what are essential products or clothing and that has been super useful in my 'spring cleaning' declutter over Easter. So today I'm going to talk through some of the products that are must haves in my makeup bag and tend to reach for everyday. While living away from home I've not felt like I've been missing any makeup in particular so thats something right!!?

Maybelline Total Temptations - Review and Comparison
I’m back today with a makeup post. The Total Temptations range from Maybelline came out a while ago and one thing I was particularly interested in was the mascara. I haven’t tried a new mascara in a while and after reading a few first impressions I thought I should give it a try. So that’s what I’m going to do! Also if you’ve read my blog before you’ll know that the reason I haven’t really experimented with my mascaras in a while is because

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink // First Impressions
Recently I’ve been searching for the perfect nude liquid lipstick. I have a few lipsticks that fit this category for me, particularly the Bourjois Velvet collection of Liquid Lipsticks - which I reviewed a while ago, here. But I’m always looking out to try new shades and products. Looking on instagram I stumbled across

Looking Back on 2017
For me, 2017 was one of the best years. Now I should have probably uploaded this before NY but ah well I still want to reflect on a year that has been full of highlights. I turned 18, moved to University and created some really great memories with friends and family. Today's post entails some of my favourite memories, something nice to look back on in the future.

Uni Christmas Room Tour
As promised todays post features the photos I took of our Christmas common room layout at Uni. Luckily for me, my flat is full of Christmas lovers so we decided to make the most of Christmas while still here at Uni, as when writing this we have around a month before we leave for the Xmas hols.

The Body Shop; Tea Tree // Review
It's been a while since I've posted a review, but recently I've noticed that my past reviews have remained super popular. So today I'm going to review one of my holy grail product... well range. Be warned I'm going to be going into a lot of detail, I know for me skin care is very important to get right so I wanted to share as much as I can.

The Liebster Award Q&A
The other day I received a lovely twitter link to Chloe Marie's Liebster award post, which she kindly nominated me in. (Check out her blog at http://mycrazybeautyjourney.blogspot.co.uk ) So today I'm back with this little Q&A tag post. If you've read my blog for a while you'll know I've taken part in this tag a few times before; it's defiantly a good way to get to know bloggers! So here we go!

Summer Tag
It looks like in the UK it's trying to be summer... I mean it's sunny as I'm writing this but that could all change. I've been excited for the summer for a while, being in my last year of Sixth Form it has helped a lot knowing theres a huge summer round the corner, one I plan on making the most of before uni. So today I'm gunna share my answers to the Summer Tag to help feel more determined to work hard before the countdown to relaxing summer days. So here's 10 quick questions about my summer preferences.

Top 5 Things I'd Save in a Fire // Tag
I'm back! Within the busyness of A -Levels, I've finally found some time to sit down and blog. Just finished some Media revision on Disney's Frozen - oh what a great life ahah. I saw Gabby (Velvet Ghost on Youtube) create this tag, and thought why not use this idea and bring it into a blogging format. Personally I love tags, I kinda feel they help you get to know someone a bit more, plus as an ultra sentimental person this tag is perfect for me. I'll link Gabby's video HERE if any of you want to check it out after reading this.
Right so here goes my list of things I'd save in a fire.

ASOS Haul || Party/ Night Out
I've been doing a bit of online shopping recently (much to my bank accounts annoyance) and I thought I would share a few of the ASOS items I have brought. Just a quick disclaimer, I am using the online ASOS images for this post as I don't have the time or anyone to take the photos of me in the outfits :( but I will say that they all fit well, I was a little worried as I am quite short!...
Starting with dresses I have a few parties coming up - perks of everyone turning 18 this year - and the sale dresses were amazing, both dresses I picked up came to £10 or less each! The first being this red/ burgundy shade with cut out front section. (link here) Many of you that know me, know there are very few colours that I actually wear (I'm very much a monochrome girl..) but this shade is one that I do actually own a few other items in. For me this dress is very flattering and perfect for a party or formal occasion. The second dress is again in one of the few colours I actually own/ wear. (link here) Khaki is one of my favourite colours right now. This dress has a simple style, yet the eyelit detail adds a little extra. With both of these dresses I was worried about the length, as before I mentioned I'm not exactly the tallest, but I had no trouble.
An essential I feel for everyones party wardrobe is a simple black skirt. Somehow I've managed to loose the one I had before - legit cannot find it anywhere - so I took to ASOS to find a new one. Once again a basic item and therefore pretty inexpensive, £10 ASOS own brand (link here). I personally love to style these with a cropped top - before Christmas I picked up a black lace top from H&M and also a velvet grey one from Top Shop. This skirt is a real saviour when you're unsure what to wear on a night out.
I also picked up - again in Khaki - a simple top, perfect to wear to family events or meals out. I'd previously brought a black version from River Island and loved the style, so I couldn't resist when seeing this on ASOS, again (a recurring theme on my blog) this was pretty inexpensive at £14 (link here).
Thats all I have to share today, but I recommend you check out the ASOS sale as I'm pretty sure it is still at 70% off right now. Once again apologies that these are just online photos - I aim once the weather gets better to try and do a few more outfit posts. See you next time, goodbye.

January Favourites
January has been one of those extremely hectic months. But finally a relaxing weekend, wooo, as last week was deadline week for a few of my coursework subjects, the relief is unreal rn!!! And although there has been a lack of blogging and have still been trying out a few new products and rediscovering some old faves. I've actually started using a new hair product that I will probably review after I've used it for a while - loving it so far tho! I haven't actually sat and planned this post, I think this is my favourite way of blogging, so I guess we will just see how this goes.
